The LERC regularly conducts advanced classes for organizers, union professionals, and others in the field who want to take their skills to the next level. These trainings focus on building individual and organizational capacity, and usually require prerequisite knowledge, experience, and technical skills. Recently, these courses have included:

  • A 2-Day Labor Educator Training Program, giving union and movement leaders an introduction to Popular Education skills, and giving them the resources and skills to lead Labor Notes’ Secrets of a Successful Organizer trainings
  • Participating in and Supporting the Summer Institute for Union Women, an intensive week of skill-building for member-leaders of unions on the West Coast.
